Colleen started sewing at age 10 when she joined a 4-H club in rural North Dakota. She began quilting in 1999 at the insistence of a friend. Colleen’s original quilt, Scandia Ice, was displayed at QuiltCon 2022 in Phoenix. When she’s not quilting, she enjoys baking and playing Mah Jongg. She is a semi-retired pharmacist and lives in Grand Forks, ND, with her husband of 37 years. They have two grown children. Colleen is currently a candidate in the NACQJ candidate program wishing to become a nationally certified quilt judge.
