From precision piecing, tiny piecing, foundation paper piecing, and curved piecing, this Modern Block Sampler pattern will test your piecing skills. We challenged six MQG members to design a quilt block with these parameters: base the design on a basic shape (e.g. square, triangle, circle), have it measure 12 ½” x 12 1/2″ unfinished, and use a specific color palette. The blocks are set in a 5 x 6 grid that is filled with solid squares allowing for makers to test their own quilt design skills and customize the final sampler project.
