About the Contributor

Amy Friend is a trained Art Historian and former Museum curator who currently spends her days designing patterns, quilting, and sewing while caring for her three children. Paper piecing, as well as modern traditional quilt design, bring her the most joy. She works as an independent quilt designer for BasicGrey and Sizzix and as a design team member for Thermoweb. Her publications include McCall’s Quick Quilts, American Quilter, Blocks To Die For, Scraps, Inc., and Playful Little Paper Pieced Projects.
