Disappearing Oranges is a modern pattern that was designed using the Subtracting for Minimalism technique. Feel free to change up the colors, block placement, and number of blocks to make the quilt design your own.

Cheryl Brickey currently lives in South Carolina, spending her days writing patent applications for a chemical and textile company and nights quilting after her two children are in bed. She is the author of the Modern Plus Sign Quilts book, has had her work published in major quilt magazines and shown in international quilt shows, and is excited to be teaching seven workshops at QuiltCon 2020 in Austin on her Subtracting for Minimalism technique and Electric Quilt 8. Her quilt, Warp and Weft, won 1st place at QuiltCon 2017 in the AQS 9-Patch Challenge category.

Cheryl enjoys all aspects of quilting, especially designing quilt patterns and quilt math. Cheryl is very active in both her local modern quilt guild (Greenville Modern Quilt Guild) and online through her blog Meadow Mist Designs and on Instagram @MeadowMistDesigns.
