Miki is a Los Angeles native transplanted to the wilds of Central Pennsylvania. She has been quilting for six years, though she has been sewing all manner of things since she was a small child. She attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles where she studied fashion and graphic design, which plays heavily into how she views quilting and creative pursuits.
