Hello my name is Hemamalini Elumalai (Hema or Malini) and I blog at Malini’s Quilts. I am a Software Professional by day and a quilter by night. I started sewing when I was 5 or 6 years old but took a long break of 15 years right after I graduated from college and started working. I found quilting in Summer of 2011 and have been hooked ever since. My modern quilt asthetics tends to be more of either Negative space or improve piecing. On a personal note, I live north of Boston with wonderful family, supportive husband and 2 beautiful kids. My daughter is 7 years old and my son is 3 years old.
