Nelson MQG About Us: The Nelson Modern Quilt Guild was established in 2020 and has grown to over 20 members of varying ages, quilting experience, and interests. Our logo represents the mountains and lakes surrounding our town, and the Big Orange Bridge (affectionally known as BOB), which connects us to the North Shore of Kootenay Lake. It is a truly eclectic guild, meeting for very well attended bi-monthly sew days, which begin with a meeting on the 2nd Saturday of the month. While our guild meets in the beautiful mountain town of Nelson, BC, our members reside in Nelson, Balfour, Rossland, Creston, Castlegar, Thrums, and the North Shore of Kootenay Lake.
