Chicago MQG The mission and purpose of the Chicago Modern Quilt Guild are to provide a community based on common interests, building friendships, sharing inspiration, and educating each other with a focus on modern quilting. The guild supports and encourages the growth and development of modern quilting through art, community building, and education. The Chicago Modern Quilt Guild was founded in 2009 by Mary Pustejovsky, with support in the first year of officers Beth Kovacic, Sue Ryan, Ebony Love, and Sarah Shulman.
