QuiltCon 2025 Registration Update: Next Steps

Thank you all so much for your patience as we reviewed every single transaction and registration for QuiltCon 2025 these past few weeks. This has been a challenging task and we appreciate the kind words we have received from many members while working through this.

We are pleased to announce an updated timeline as we near the finish line of checking and confirming data! In reviewing the data, there were workshops the system failed to stop selling after capacity had been met, so some registrants will be removed from overbooked workshops. Full refunds will be provided to those people, as well as priority on the waitlist if seats should become available.

Week of August 19th

• Updated Registration Confirmations for all!
  • Each registrant will receive an updated registration confirmation email. This email is your full confirmed schedule as it stands. If you owe payment for any items the system did not allow you to pay for on 7/31, you will see that balance due in this email. On the flip side, if we owe you money for overpayment or because you were removed from an overbooked workshop, you will also see that owed balance on this email. 
  • If you are owed money, you will receive a more detailed email explaining the balance we owe you. Then, by August 22, the refunds will have been issued and you will receive a refund confirmation email.
• Balances Due
  • If you owe a balance, you will need to pay that balance by the end of day Thursday, August 22nd to keep the item in your registration. Detailed instructions will be provided via email. If you prefer to have the item removed from your registration, no further action is required. Any items that remain unpaid on August 23 will be removed from your registration with no penalty. 
• Cancellation Process
  • If you see your updated registration confirmation and need to cancel any items from your registration, you may do so with no penalty through the end of day Thursday, August 22nd. You will find a link to this form on your updated registration confirmation. After this time, the original refund policy goes back into effect.

Week of August 26th 

• Registration will reopen officially for MQG members only. We will provide the exact date and time that registration will reopen at least five days prior! 

Please note, registration will NOT reopen on a weekend day, as it is not possible to have the support of our credit card processing company, software provider, and more on weekends.

Again, the patience and support from all of you has been fantastic! No event is without its (mis)adventures and we know QuiltCon 2025 will be the joyful and inspiring weekend we’ve all come to expect.
