Erin Grogan

Erin Grogan is a Modern Traditionalist quilter, pattern designer, and instructor living in Northern Virginia. She began her sewing journey at the age of 13 helping her grandmother sew her school wardrobe in the summers. Five years ago she entered her first local modern quilt shop and hasn’t stopped quilting since. Her quilts never lack in bold colors and playful fabrics. Erin enjoys taking the extra time to add texture and a little something special to her quilts with big stitch quilting. Erin is known for her speed and efficiency in quilting. She enjoys teaching her best-known methods to help other quilters become more efficient in their sewing rooms. Erin prides herself on believing that not every student learns the same, or finds ease in the same skills. She always brings a multitude of methods to her workshops and takes the time to find the method that works best for her students. View Erin’s current course offerings at www.lovesewmodern.com
